Our Story – From one Bird Parents to another, with Love

“Because they’re not just pets — they’re family.”

 

In 2022, we were just like you — bird parents planning a vacation, hearts heavy with worry. Our feathered babies weren’t just pets; they were part of our soul, our morning chirps, our evening snuggles, our daily joy. But as we searched for someone we could trust, someone who would treat our birds not as a cage number but as beloved beings, we came up empty.

 

We didn’t want just a sitter.

We wanted someone who would talk to them, laugh with them, feed them their favorite veggies, and rock them gently when they missed us.

 

That’s when it hit us — maybe we were meant to be that someone. Not just for our birds, but for every bird parent who’s ever faced the same dilemma. And so, Sunshine Bird Sitters was born.

 

Since then, we’ve had the honor of caring for dozens of birds — each one a character, each one a little miracle. We’ve learned to recognize the soft coos of comfort, the excited chirps of playtime, the sleepy fluffs before nap. Some came shy and unsure, others loud and proud — but all left as part of our extended bird family.

 

Through them, we’ve discovered life’s gentlest truths:

That trust is earned one feather at a time.

That love doesn’t need words to be understood.

And that even the tiniest wings can leave the biggest imprint on your heart.

 

At Sunshine Bird Sitters, we don’t just offer a cage or a corner. We offer a home — with fresh seeds, crisp veggies, juicy fruits, and cool, clean water. With space to fly, toys to chew, music to dance to, and soft, safe hands to perch on.

 

There’s a bird gym for group play, and one-on-one cuddle sessions for the shy hearts.

There are chirpy updates for parents through WhatsApp, email, or messages — because we know how much you’ll miss them.

And most importantly, there’s no pre-deposit. Because love shouldn’t come with conditions.

 

We’re Christia and Samdarsh, and our own birds, Lemon and Coco, are the soul of this home.

They reminds us every day why we started this journey — and why we’ll never stop.
